TIME
The left side's echo
A note value from 1/32 to 1/1, straight, dotted or triplet, locked to your song, or 10 ms to 2 s free with SYNC off.
SPREAD
The right side's echo
WIDEN (35 ms after the left), DOTTED, CLASSIC (1/4 left, 1/8 dotted right) or DOUBLE. The knob reads both sides as they play.
FEEDBACK
How many repeats
Each side repeats only on its own side; the line under the knob says how many you will hear. Very short echoes get less, so they never ring metallic.
WIDTH
As wide as you want
From both echoes in the middle to fully left and right, and past the speakers up to 150 %. The echoes' lows stay mono below 150 Hz.
MONO
Check it in one click
The key in the bar sums the output to mono while it is lit, to hear how the echoes hold up on a phone or a club system.

Every repeat is filtered from 200 Hz to 6 kHz, so the echoes stay out of the voice's way and darken as they fade.

Questions
How do I make a stereo delay on a vocal?
Insert Wingspan on the vocal: Init is the classic setup, a quarter-note echo on the left and a dotted eighth on the right, the voice dry in the middle. Set MIX so the echoes sit behind it.
How is it different from a ping-pong delay?
A ping-pong delay bounces one echo from side to side. Wingspan plays two echoes at once, one on each side, each at its own rhythm and each repeating only on its own side.
Will it sound right in mono?
The echoes' lows are mono below 150 Hz, and the MONO key in the bar lets you check in one click. Past WIDTH 100 % the echoes get wider but quieter in mono.
Can I widen a vocal without an echo?
Yes: Vocal / Vocal Widen uses two very short copies, 10 ms and 45 ms, with no feedback.
Does it sync to my song?
Yes. With SYNC on, TIME is a note value at your song's tempo; off, it is free milliseconds.
Does it work in my DAW?
Any 64-bit DAW that loads VST3, AU or AAX plug-ins, on Windows 7 SP1 or later or macOS 10.13 or later. There is no standalone app.
How many computers can I use it on?
