Does it really slow the song down?
Yes. Moonlight records the song into memory from the moment you press play and plays it back slower, so tempo and pitch drop together, exactly like a slowed record.
How long will my export be?
Longer than the original, by 1 / SPEED: a 3:00 song at 80 % lasts 3:45. The LENGTH readout shows the factor. Extend the export range by it and bounce from bar 1.
Why does the output fall behind the song?
A slowed song is longer than the original, so as the song plays, the slowed version drifts further behind it. BEHIND shows by how much. That is the slowdown working.
What happens when I loop or jump?
A loop carries on: the whole looped section is heard slowed, cycle after cycle. A jump to a new place restarts the slowdown cleanly there, with a short crossfade.
Can I keep the original pitch?
No. Moonlight is the classic slowed sound, where pitch drops with tempo, like a record played slow.
Does it work in my DAW?
Any 64-bit DAW that loads VST3, AU or AAX plug-ins, on Windows 7 SP1 or later or macOS 10.13 or later. There is no standalone app.
How many computers can I use it on?
Up to five of your own for each copy you buy. To move it, deactivate it in the plugin on the old computer and unlock it on the new one.
Does it need the internet?
