Why VS-T12
Warmth in one knob
SATURATION goes from clean warmth to thick, compressed tube drive.
Presence in another
HARMONICS adds overtones at 2, 3, 6 or 10 kHz, where the ear finds presence. SAT. ON and HAR. ON switch each stage on its own.
See the colour
The waveform in and out, the transfer curve, harmonics H1 to H10 and a THD reading, measured at your settings.
Thin in. Full out.
Two knobs on the panel, and a display that shows exactly what the tube adds.

- 32 samples latency
Tube saturation and harmonics
- Warmth in one knob. SATURATION from clean warmth to thick, compressed tube drive.
- Presence in another. HARMONICS adds overtones at 2, 3, 6 or 10 kHz.
- Each stage on its own. SAT. ON and HAR. ON switch the two stages independently.
- See the colour. Waveform, transfer curve, harmonics H1 to H10 and a THD reading.
- SATURATION and HARMONICS (0 to 10), the harmonics frequency keys (2, 3, 6 or 10 kHz), SAT. ON and HAR. ON; the SIG, OVL and PWR lamps; channel 2 linked to channel 1.
- ADVANCED: OUTPUT (±12 dB).
- A display unit you can hide: the readings with THD, the waveform in and out, the transfer curve and the harmonics H1 to H10, measured at your settings.
- One analog unit, built in: the small part tolerances of a single unit, each side its own, in every setting.
- Presets you save and load, with arrows to step through them; A/B, undo and redo, MIDI Learn on every control; a window from 75 to 200 %.
- 32 samples of latency, reported to your DAW, and a POWER-off bypass that stays in time.

What VS-T12 does
Two stages, two knobs: warmth and presence, each on its own.
SATURATION
Warmth in one knob
How hard the tube is driven, 0 to 10: from clean warmth to thick, compressed saturation.
HARMONICS
Presence in another
How much of the harmonics stage's overtones are added, 0 to 10.
Harmonics frequency keys
Put the presence where you want it
Two keys choose where the overtones go: 2, 3, 6 or 10 kHz.
SAT. ON and HAR. ON
Each stage on its own
Switch the tube stage and the harmonics stage in and out independently.
OUTPUT
Level after the tube
-12 to +12 dB in the ADVANCED strip, to match the level after you push it.
The display
See the colour
The readings with THD, the waveform in and out, the transfer curve and the harmonics H1 to H10, measured at your settings. Hide it when you are done.
One analog unit, built in
The small differences of real hardware
VS-T12 carries the small part tolerances of a single analog unit, each side its own, in every setting. One fixed unit: nothing to choose, nothing to set up.

How VS-T12 compares
Warmth and presence as two stages, with the colour on screen.
| VS-T12 | Typical saturation plugins | |
|---|---|---|
| Warmth | A tube stage from clean warmth to thick, compressed drive | One drive knob |
| Presence | A harmonics stage at 2, 3, 6 or 10 kHz | An EQ afterwards |
| Stages | Saturation and harmonics, each switched on its own | One stage, all or nothing |
| Seeing the colour | Waveform, transfer curve, H1 to H10 and THD, measured live | A drive amount only |
| Level after the drive | OUTPUT, -12 to +12 dB | Louder often passes for better |
| Analog character | One analog unit, built in, each side its own | Both sides identical |
"Typical" describes what we commonly see in this category; it does not describe any particular product. VS-T12 facts are from the plugin and its manual, October 2026.

Questions
What does VS-T12 do?
It runs a track through a tube stage for warmth and density and a harmonics stage that adds overtones where the ear finds presence. Two knobs, and a thin vocal, a flat bass or a dull bus comes out fuller.
Which sources is it for?
Anything that sounds thin or small next to a record: vocals, bass, guitars, drum buses and samples.
How is it different from a plain saturator?
It has two stages you switch on their own: SATURATION for tube warmth and density, and HARMONICS for overtones at 2, 3, 6 or 10 kHz. The display shows the waveform, the transfer curve, the harmonics H1 to H10 and the THD at your settings, so you see the colour as well as hear it.
What does "one analog unit, built in" mean?
VS-T12 carries the small part tolerances of a single analog unit, each side its own, in every setting. It is one fixed unit: there is no unit selector and nothing to set up.
Which formats and systems does it run on?
VST3 and AAX on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit); VST3, AU and AAX on macOS 11 or later. It works in any 64-bit DAW that loads VST3, AU or AAX plugins.
Does it add latency?
32 samples, reported to your DAW so everything stays in time. Switched off, the bypass stays in time too.

Founder's Story
"When COVID hit, I finally had time to dive into music production—only to discover I was missing the right tools. The plugins I tried were clunky, overloaded with unnecessary features, and killed my vibe with endless tweaking. I knew there had to be a better way.
So, with my engineering background, I started making free and simple audio plugins for my producer friends. They loved them! That’s when I set out on a mission to create plugins that save you time, streamline your workflow, and keep your creativity flowing."
