4 to 32 copies of your voice sing the line. The knob turns smoothly, fading one more voice in at a time, and the level holds as the choir grows, so bigger never just means louder.
LOOSEN
From a tight section to a human crowd
Moves every voice's pitch, timing and vibrato apart together. At the default 50 % the voices sit up to 12 cents sharp or flat and 10 to 40 ms early or late; at 0 they sing as one, tight and deliberately artificial.

Each copy has its own timing, its own vibrato, its own slow drift and its own place in the stereo field, so the beating between them never settles into the regular swirl of a chorus.

Turn it up and a section an octave below joins the choir, then one an octave above. Both keep the character of your voice, so they sound like deeper and higher singers, not a tape sped up or slowed down.
HALL
One shared hall for the whole choir
Sets how much hall you hear and how long it rings, together: 3.0 seconds at the default 40 % in CHAMBER, from 1.5 to 5.25 seconds across the knob. Every voice sings into the same space, as a real choir does.
TYPE
Chamber, cathedral or tape wall
CHAMBER is a choir in a smaller hall. CATHEDRAL doubles every hall time in a bigger space, up to 10.5 seconds. TAPE WALL is a dense, steady wall of voices without vibrato that swells in on every new note.
WIDTH
From centred to wall-to-wall
Spreads the voices across the stereo field, from all in the middle to the outermost pair hard left and right. The default 80 % is wide without leaving a hole in the centre.
LEAD
Your voice stays on top
With LEAD on, your own voice stays clear in front of the choir at any MIX: even at 100 % it drops only 1.8 dB. Switch it off for a plain blend, or the choir alone.

A wet/dry for the choir
The choir against your lead, from a hint behind it to a full choir. The default 60 % puts a choir clearly behind a lead that stays in front.

Questions
How do I make my vocals sound like a choir?
Put Hundredfold on the vocal track: Init is already an eight-voice choir in a 3-second hall with your lead on top. Turn VOICES up for a bigger choir, LOOSEN up for a looser, more human one, and add SECTIONS for octave voices.
Is it a choir sample library?
No. There are no recorded singers inside. Hundredfold makes the choir from your own voice, so it sings your words, your melody and your timing, on any vocal you record.
Is it a chorus effect?
No. A chorus moves one copy of the sound back and forth. Hundredfold makes up to 32 separate voices, each with its own pitch, timing, vibrato and stereo place, and puts them in one shared hall: a choir, not a chorus.
Does it add harmonies?
No. Every voice sings your line, as a unison choir does, with optional sections an octave below and above. For harmonies, pair it with Pitch Suite Pro.
Will it bury my lead vocal?
No. With LEAD on, your own voice stays on top at any MIX, dropping at most 1.8 dB at MIX 100 %. Lower MIX or VOICES for a subtler choir, as Use / Backing Thickener does.
Why does my DAW show latency?
The voices need about 70 ms to be made, so Hundredfold reports it and your DAW lines everything up on playback. It suits a choir that sits behind the lead; only live monitoring through it hears the delay.
Does it work in my DAW?
Any 64-bit DAW that loads VST3, AU or AAX plug-ins, on Windows 7 SP1 or later or macOS 10.13 or later. There is no standalone app.
How many computers can I use it on?
Up to five of your own for each copy you buy. To move it, deactivate it in the plugin on the old computer and unlock it on the new one.
Does it need the internet?
Once, to unlock it with the code we email you. After that it checks in now and then and works offline in between.
