The voice's own hall played backwards rises into every phrase and stops right on it. HAUNT sets how far ahead it starts, 1 s at 50 %, up to 2 s, and how loud it grows, with the level held as you turn it.
SPACE
The long hall it trails into
From dry to vast: the hall's length and how much of it you hear, together. On GHOST 5 s at 50 %, 8 s at 100 %, with the knob reading the hall's length in seconds.
WHISPER
Thin it to a breath
Up to 50 % a whisper EQ takes the body out and adds air; above it a breath layer made from the words themselves comes in, for a voice that is half breath.
DRIFT
Pitched away, wavering
Pitches the voice away, -2 semitones on GHOST at 50 % and -4 at 100 %, with a slow 0.4 Hz waver, so it never sits still.
TYPE
Four spirits
GHOST, BANSHEE (pitched up, a brighter face, more hall), RESTLESS (a low ring-modulated buzz) or LINGERING (further down, a longer, wetter hall): each sets the pitch and hall the knobs scale.

Questions
How do I make a ghost voice?
Insert Hollowhush on the voice: Init is already a ghost, a backwards swell before every phrase, a whispery voice pitched down and wavering, and a long hall. Pick a TYPE for a banshee, a restless spirit or a lingering one.
How does it play the reverse swell before I sing?
It looks ahead: with LIVE off it holds the sound for a fixed 2 s, reports that to your DAW, and your DAW plays the track early to line it up. The swell is placed before each phrase inside that window.
Can I use it live or for streaming?
Yes, with LIVE on: zero latency. The backwards swell needs the look-ahead, so it is off in LIVE, and the pitch is shifted by a lighter, rougher shifter; the whisper, drift and hall stay.
Does it work in an AAX host?
Yes. AAX hosts compensate at most 16,383 samples, so there the look-ahead is capped at that (341 ms at 48 kHz) and the swell starts up to about 0.27 s ahead, a short dialogue-style swell.
Does it work on dialogue for video and games?
Yes. Spoken / Dialogue Ghost gives a short swell, no pitch move and no tail, the way sound designers treat game lines, and the loudness hold keeps spoken lines level with the dry.
Does it work in my DAW?
Any 64-bit DAW that loads VST3, AU or AAX plug-ins, on Windows 7 SP1 or later or macOS 10.13 or later. There is no standalone app.
How many computers can I use it on?
