How it works
How it works
Maelstrom is an automated 3D auto panner creative effect suite. It features 4 main knobs:
- Rotate controls the rotation speed. Toggle "Sync" below it to unsync/sync to your DAW.
- Shape controls the room size and shape. The higher the number the larger the room. Rotation is clockwise by default. For counterclockwise rotation, turn the Shape knob left (negative percentage).
- Space controls the amount of natural reverb and echo.
- Echo controls the time for the delay effect
Additionally, Maelstrom 3D Auto Panner includes 5 effect modules that blends with the rotation. A positive mix applies the effect when the sound is far, while a negative mix applies the effect when it's close.
- Gain is an analog soft clipper. Color increases the input gain.
- Filter is a Low-pass filter. Frequency alters the cutoff frequency.
- Width is a widening module. Pan moves the widening effect left or right.
- Bend changes the pitch when it's moving away or towards the listener. Range affects the amount of pitch bend.
- Slice is a simple stuttering effect. Time changes the slicing speed.
